Overview
Kalb Construction completed a 22,528 square foot tenant improvement for Planet Fitness in Reno, transforming a former Big Lots retail space into a fully modern fitness facility designed for high daily member use.
The project included full interior demolition, reconstruction, and upgraded building systems to support Planet Fitness brand standards. The finished space features an open workout floor, PF360 turf zone, cardio and strength training areas, the Black Card Spa, tanning rooms, locker rooms, and supporting back-of-house spaces that enhance both member flow and operational efficiency.
This build marks Kalb’s third Planet Fitness project and reflects our ability to deliver consistent results for repeat clients under demanding timelines.
