Overview

Kalb Construction completed this 400,000-square-foot tenant improvement project for Shipmonk in North Las Vegas. With 12,000 square feet of new office space integrated into a massive warehouse facility, the build supports both logistics and operations while reflecting Shipmonk’s corporate brand across every detail.

Project Highlights

  • Challenges Overcome

    One of the most complex components of this build was cooling such a large space in desert conditions. Kalb coordinated a precision airlift of twenty-nine 1,100-pound evaporative cooling units using a helicopter, completing the lift and installation with safety and efficiency as top priorities.

  • Schedule Insight

    Preplanning and close collaboration with multiple subcontractors kept the mechanical installation on track. The entire project moved forward on schedule, from framing to final finishes, with safety and execution top of mind.

  • Budget Outcome

    Kalb’s proactive coordination with Shipmonk and its design vendors helped avoid costly changes and keep mechanical systems, finishes, and tenant-specific requirements aligned with the approved budget.
