JCJ Architecture partnered with Kalb Construction to bring their expanding Las Vegas office to life. Moving from an overfilled previous location, the tenant envisioned a brighter, more open environment that would support collaboration and future growth. The result is a spacious modern office that reflects the firm’s design-forward values and operational needs.

    One of the project’s key design features had a lead time of 14–16 weeks, longer than the entire construction timeline. Kalb’s team coordinated early procurement strategies and worked closely with vendors to navigate this constraint, ensuring the feature was seamlessly integrated into the finished space.

    Despite major scheduling hurdles, Kalb’s team collaborated closely with JCJ to keep momentum steady. Through clear communication and strategic adjustments, the team delivered the space in time for the client’s move-in deadline.

    Adjustments to the construction timeline came with cost implications. In construction, time, quality, and budget are always in balance; when schedule acceleration is required, it often impacts cost. Kalb worked transparently with the client to manage this shift, maintaining high build standards while adapting to evolving project demands.
